A Talented Team

Tom graduated cum laude from the University of Kentucky in 1977 with a degree in Agricultural Economics and immediately began his real estate career as he joined his father Ralph T. Waldrop, Sr., (B.S. MSU 1949) in the firm founded by the late H.C Waldrop in 1922. The firm has evolved over the decades into a multi-disciplinary organization offering residential and commercial real estate brokerage, appraisal, management, leasing, development, and consulting services across three states.  He earned the coveted MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute in 1988 and is a Certified General Real Property appraiser in KY and TN. 

From 2016-to 2019, Mr. Waldrop served as a member of the KY Real Estate Commission and has served terms as a board officer of the West KY Regional MLS, serving 100 firms and 550 agents. Currently, Mr. Waldrop is a managing partner and principal broker at Trifecta Real Estate Services and focuses on all aspects of commercial real estate. 

Currently, Tom serves as Chair of the Graves County Democratic Executive Committee and a delegate to the 1st Congressional District and KY State Democratic conventions in 2016 and 2021. After a 23-year stint as a Mayfield City council member, he serves as Chair of the City of Mayfield’s Telecommunications Authority, an officer of the Graves County Industrial Development Board, and an officer of the Graves County Industrial Authority.  

Since September of 2021, Tom has served nearby Murray State University as a member of the Board of Regents and the Marketing and Community Engagement Committee chair.  In addition, Tom serves on the Buildings & Grounds and Legislative & Economic Development committees.  

In his free time, Mr. Waldrop enjoys his 41-year career as a KHSAA high school football official, past President and active member of the Purchase Players Community Theatre, and active member of Mayfield First United Methodist Church, where he serves as a member of the Board of Trustees, as Chair of Missions and chair of the 2012, 2015, 2017, 2019 Jamaica Missions Teams. Tom was the founding Chair of the W. H. Fuller YMCA Wellness center in Mayfield. 

Our associate, Kim Jones, moved to Western Kentucky from Nashville, Tennessee and received her certification in Human Resources from Mid-Continent University. Kim used the economic recession as a springboard for launching her real estate brokerage company and now works with her son and partners.

Growing up in Florida with five siblings, Kim learned the value of hard work, family, and dedication to succeed. Her coworkers value the time and effort she puts into every project and what she brings to the table at Trifecta.

Amy came to Mayfield, Kentucky, from Hidalgo, Mexico, a suburb of Mexico City. She is a graduate of Mayfield High School and currently pursuing a degree in education. While working in real estate during the day, she teaches English and Spanish at night.

Amy loves learning new skills and brings excitement and experience to her current role as Office Manager. Her diligence and professional mindset keep everything and everyone organized and on point in the office.
